    Walmart Sat. Stands *pic*

To anyone who has wondered how these are, I just picked them up and they're pretty good. The base actually reminds me of the one from Klipsch, but you decide.

Construction wise, it's build of cast iron and feels very study. There are a number of bracket mounts included as well. Color is in a gunmetal, grayish tone. Product link:

    $35CND tax included.

I use these for my front channels, and highly recommend them. Quality is comparable to the omnimounts I use for the rears.

Got them for the rear sats on my Ultras. $30 US

Edit: You need to run those wires up through the pole of the stands!

I don’t really like my onmimouts, the bracket is too small for the sat, so it allows like 25 degrees of play, I can just turn it left and right, it’s really bad. So I’m going to fabricate some metal brackets and post some pics when I get some time.

Geez are yours supposed to be tilted that far down? Mine sit pretty flush with the base of the stand, although the rubber washers allow for some play.

I'm gonna grab a pair sometime during the weekends. It looks very similar to that Creative stand. The mounting whole is exactly what I'm looking for.

Let me know how it goes. Might get it for my Gigaworks if it works for your Megaworks.

Some play? Cast iron feels unforgiving. I also have Logitech, not Klipsch so the mounting holes be be at different degrees.

um, yeah, it's not supposed to tilt down like that...

turns out the klipsch stands are exactly the same as the walmart stands.

The bastards at Klipsch probably rebadged it. Probably not. Who really knows?

I'll look into fixing the tilt tommorrow. I just need a heavy hammer and some eye goggles. don't want sparks or shards of it popping in my eye.

Man, don't you sleep? Chicago, home of deep house baby!
