If you pull the card out, it says class 2, not 4. Either this article was misinformed or they slipped in a class 2 card on my phone by accident.

That is it's speed class ratings. I've never tried taking video with a phone, but to support video of a decent resolution and bitrate you need to be able to sustain a certain write speed. That is why someone suggested a higher speed card.
You didn't say RAM, you said memory, which are the same thing. I thinking people took to calling NAND 'memory' because it's solid state and traditionally storage has been mechanical. It needs to stop though, because NAND is far too slow to be memory. I doubt even future technologies like PCM and memristors will be fast enough to be used as actual memory.

I see few Class 6 32 GB micro SDHC cards on eBay for about $60... but I am guessing that they all are generic... still waiting for good brands I guess...
