    my laptops two intels

    hello.

    i am curious. am i really using ALL the processor power that comes with my core2duo laptop? and if not, what do i need to run to do so. or is it like, the second chip kicks in after a certain thing happens?

    If your post isn't spam, then if you multi-task, you're using two cores.

    The OS assigns work to the least busy core when the task is reinstated after an interrupt.
    In that sense the work load is distributed across all cores irrespective of how an application is coded.
    You can see this behavior in the task manager performance tab.
