can i use google calendar for this?
so, i am starting a new job on Monday where i will travel quite a bit. My gf also travels, and we wanted a way to have a sync'ed calendar w/o cluttering up our work calendars.
is it possible for us to both push our calendar data to one Google calendar account? then we could just check the Google calendar to find out what the other persons schedule would be
thanks

Damn you Hillary Clinton. This is all your fault. Damn you straight to hell. I'm glad Bill cheated on you. He was a good man. You, ma'am, are a douche. - ImaNihilist

You can have multiple calenders under a single account so you could both update your own and easily view each others when you log into the account.

Yes, you can absolutely do what you want. Look for a program called "Google Calendar Sync". It allows you to sync your Microsoft Exchange / Outlook and your Google Calendars in either 1-way or 2-way configurations. To do what you want, just configure it to 1-way push your Outlook calendar info into your Google calendar.
Now, both you and your girlfriend could push into the same single Google calendar. OR, you could push into two separate Google calendars, and just share those two calendars with each other. It is up to you on how you want to handle this.
